Pada Kamis (17/10/024), Israel menyatakan, pasukannya di Gaza telah membunuh pemimpin Hamas Yahya Sinwar. Dia disebut sebagai sebagai dalang di balik serangan mematikan 7 Oktober 2023.

“Tampaknya Israel percaya bahwa membunuh para pemimpin kami berarti akhir dari gerakan kami dan perjuangan rakyat Palestina,” kata Naim.
