“Ketemu lagi cadangan emas, rupanya Indonesia ini nanti bisa produsen emas salah satu terbesar di dunia,” ucap Prabowo di BNI Investor Daily Summit, dikutip Kamis (10/10/2024). Sayangnya ia tidak merinci berapa banyak temuan-temuan cadangan emas baru itu, yang terang, Prabowo meminta supaya masyarakat tidak terburu-buru merayakan pencapaian ini, mengingat potensi yang masih terpendam di bawah tanah.
“Jangan cepat tepuk tangan emasnya masih di bawah tanah kita harus gali. Maksud saya kita harus tagih, dengan segala kelebihan kita, kita dapat tantangan besar,” beber Prabowo.

Meskipun angka ini masih jauh di bawah China yang berada di peringkat kelima, peran emas dalam menjaga kestabilan perekonomian nasional tak bisa diremehkan.
