Tiga orang dilaporkan meninggal dunia dalam keadaan lemas selama pengujian kendaraan di pabrik Hyundai Motor. Kejadian ini berlangsung di tenggara kota Ulsan, Korea Selatan (Korsel).
Laporan awal dimuat Korea Times mengutip polisi setempat Selasa. Badan Kepolisian Metropolitan Ulsan mengatakan tiga peneliti ditemukan tidak sadarkan diri di dalam laboratorium di kompleks Pabrik 4 Ulsan Hyundai Motor sekitar jam 15.00 waktu setempat.
“Mereka sedang melakukan tes mengemudi di laboratorium,” kata kepolisian, dikutip Rabu (21/11/2024).
Ketiga orang tersebut, berusia 40-an, 30-an, dan 20-an. Mereka dibawa ke rumah sakit dalam kondisi kritis tetapi kemudian dinyatakan meninggal.
Masih merujuk laman yang sama, menurut pejabat perusahaan, ketiga orang tersebut tidak keluar dari ruang pengujian setelah menyelesaikan tes mengemudi di laboratorium Pabrik 4 sekitar pukul 12.50. Mereka kemudian ditemukan tergeletak di lantai laboratorium ketika orang lain masuk untuk memeriksa.
